First rate increases and retro

The first rate increases under the new contract are taking effect this fall. The contract featured a 1 percent pay increase retroactive to May 1, 2013, and another 1 percent pay increase retroactive to May 1, 2014. For detailed information on the payments for in-service members, please read the New York Teacher article. If members have questions, they should contact the salary representative in their borough office.
